v0.14.3 Mainnet

High8.0

Description

Starknet v0.14.3 goes live on Mainnet, introducing SNIP-35 dynamic L2 gas base fees, SNIP-40 faster blocks, SNIP-36 Keccak client-side proving, and quantum-resistant SNOS hashing. RPC 0.8 is deprecated and sequencer candidate status changes.

Why it matters

A mainnet hardfork activates four SNIPs at once: a dynamic L2 gas base-fee model shifts transaction pricing toward real congestion, faster blocks compress inclusion latency, and client-side Keccak proving advances proving decentralization. Quantum-resistant SNOS hashing hardens a protocol-level primitive ahead of need rather than in response to one. RPC 0.8 deprecation and sequencer candidate changes force builder action now, making this a durable, trader-relevant re-rate for STRK.
